In April 2025, after nearly half a year of research and development and testing optimization, Hydrogen Energy successfully achieved batch supply of 600mm*500mm anode electrodes for AEM electrolyzers. As a core component of anion exchange membrane (AEM) electrolyzers, this product is batch-prepared through a method of normal temperature and pressure, which is simpler and less costly compared to the commonly used hydrothermal method in the industry. Currently, the predicted lifespan exceeds 10,000 hours (with actual measurement already surpassing 4,000 hours), marking a significant step forward for Hydrogen Energy's AEM electrodes in supporting AEM electrolyzers to reach MW-level single cells. It has already been provided in batches to multiple customers, contributing to the rapid development of the AEM industry.
In addition, significant progress has been made in the research and development and mass production of ionomers and anion exchange membranes in March. Batch deliveries have been completed, and outstanding results have been achieved in customer evaluations. Orders have been received from leading foreign hydrogen energy customers, multiple central enterprises and listed companies in China, as well as many top universities. Currently, the products are in short supply.
